Recommended Reading--Novels and Stories

I am usually classified as a Southern writer, for some inexplicable reason that escapes me, though perhaps it's because most of my stories are set in the Deep South and have a decidedly Southern "flavor." Recently, however, I have ventured into the horror genre, and, so far at least, I have three published works to my credit. The first is a novella, The Dark Woods; the second, a story, "The Runner;" and the third a novel, Master of Fright: Return to the Dark Woods. All are available on Amazon Books, and the longer works are available in hardcopy as well as for download to Kindle or other electronic devices. They are also available in one book, The Dark Woods Trilogy, so you can read all three stories for a money-saving price.

These interrelated tales are set in the fictional town of Hartsville in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, and although each is a standalone tale, when read in order, they tell the complete story of what lurks in the woods behind the picturesque farm on Shady Hollow Road--a place where tragedy seems always to befall the owners--and no one stays for long.
